Terrazzo Cleaning Services in Pittsburgh | MARBLELIFE EnduraCrete
Deep, terrazzo safe cleaning that restores clarity and keeps floors looking bright across Pittsburgh
Terrazzo floors are built for long term performance, but in Pittsburgh they still take a beating from tracked in grit, winter salt residue, spills, and buildup from the wrong cleaning products. MARBLELIFE EnduraCrete of Pittsburgh provides professional terrazzo cleaning that removes everyday grime while preserving the natural luster and color of the surface. Using terrazzo appropriate solutions and proven methods, our technicians break down film, lift embedded soil from the terrazzo matrix, and restore a cleaner, more uniform appearance without leaving the floor cloudy, etched, or coated. Whether your terrazzo is cement based or epoxy based, and whether it is in a home, school, retail space, or office lobby, we tailor the process to the material and the level of traffic it receives.
As your local MARBLELIFE team in Pittsburgh, we handle both routine cleaning and terrazzo that has been dulled by heavy use or improper maintenance. We start with an on site evaluation, choose the safest approach for your finish, and focus on results that make the surface easier to maintain going forward. When needed, we can recommend next step services such as polishing, sealing, stain reduction, or minor repairs to help keep your terrazzo looking consistent and performing well over time. The goal is a brighter, more professional presentation that stands up to Pittsburgh seasons and day to day use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Terrazzo cleaning by MARBLELIFE is a professional service that removes built up dirt, spills, and residue from terrazzo surfaces without harming the stone. Our trained technicians use specialized MARBLELIFE cleaners and equipment to lift soil from the pores of the terrazzo and restore a brighter, cleaner appearance.
Most Pittsburgh homes and businesses benefit from professional terrazzo cleaning once or twice a year, depending on traffic and soil levels. Busy commercial spaces, restaurants, and high use areas may need more frequent service to keep floors looking fresh and easy to maintain.
In many cases MARBLELIFE can significantly reduce or remove stains caused by spills, tracked in dirt, or previous cleaning products. During your visit, our Pittsburgh technicians will evaluate the type of stain and recommend the best cleaning or restoration approach for your specific terrazzo surface.
Yes, MARBLELIFE uses stone friendly cleaners and methods that are appropriate for both modern and historic terrazzo installations. Our team in Pittsburgh carefully assesses each floor so we can clean thoroughly while protecting the integrity and character of older terrazzo.
Terrazzo cleaning focuses on removing dirt, residue, and light surface soiling from the floor. Polishing goes further by mechanically refining the surface to improve gloss, clarity, and reflectivity, and MARBLELIFE can provide both services if your Pittsburgh terrazzo needs a deeper refresh.
MARBLELIFE’s cleaning services are designed to be low-mess and efficient. Our Pittsburgh technicians use controlled cleaning methods and professional equipment, and they protect all surrounding areas so your space is left clean, orderly, and ready to use when the service is finished.
The time required depends on the size and condition of your floors, but many Pittsburgh residential projects can be completed in a single visit. Larger or heavily soiled commercial spaces may take longer, and your MARBLELIFE technician will provide a clear time estimate after inspecting the area.
If your terrazzo would benefit from added protection, MARBLELIFE can apply a suitable sealer after cleaning to help resist future staining and make day to day maintenance easier. Your local Pittsburgh team will discuss whether sealing is recommended for your floor and explain the options.
If chips, cracks, or worn areas are discovered while cleaning, MARBLELIFE can provide terrazzo repair and restoration services to address those issues. Our Pittsburgh technicians can color match repairs and coordinate cleaning, repair, and polishing so your floor has a more uniform appearance.
MARBLELIFE provides terrazzo cleaning for homes and businesses throughout Pittsburgh and many surrounding communities. If you are unsure whether your property is within our service area, our local office can quickly confirm availability and help you schedule an on site visit.
Posted on Ludwig ReimmerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I hired MARBLELIFE Pittsburgh for a quartz kitchen sink recut and was extremely pleased. Bob did exceptional work, surpassing what my wife and I expected. Communication was timely, and the quoted price matched the final cost. Highly recommend their reliable, professional service—definitely a 5+ star experience!Posted on wade saucierTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Pittsburgh Marblelife team was excellent. Restored an old 84 year old stone floor that had some water damage to the stones. Very happy with the results. At first we were going to place a wall to wall rug in the room. But after the restoration we decided to keep the floor exposed due to the fine restoration work. Thank you!Posted on Kalena ThomhaveTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience with MARBLELIFE and Bob, and wholeheartedly recommend them. Bob and his team cleaned, honed, and sealed my kitchen countertops, and they look so beautiful. I’m not usually a review writer, but I have also never experienced being in love with kitchen counters. My partner and I are doing a low-cost “remodel” of our kitchen—you know, new paint job, new lighting fixtures, and other changes that don’t mean gutting and renovating and tens of thousands of dollars. Our granite countertops were perfectly useable, but I didn’t really like them. However, I knew replacing them would not only be wasteful, but also super expensive. I did some research, and I thought that getting them honed to a matte finish would make them fit the style of the kitchen better. Before I talked to Bob at MARBLELIFE, I talked to a couple other fabricators who weren’t interested in tackling our counters. And I think I get why—it would not only be a hard project, but matte counters are more finicky, so customers might not be pleased with the additional care needed. But Bob was totally open to honing our countertops! He was very communicative—we talked mostly by text, which is nice for millennials and also because I could easily pull up our conversation if I forgot details of something he said, and we also connected over the phone. Pricing was clear and reasonable with no surprises. Bob and his team completed the job quickly and even left us some sealant for the next time the counters need it. AND THEY LOOK SO GOOD! This review is getting too long, but let me just say if you’re thinking about a matte finish: the colors of the stone are so much richer and it’s also so clear the counters are made of NATURAL STONE. Yes we need to be better about taking care of it, but I don’t mind. If I knew more about granite and stone I know I could say more about how professional Bob was, but I can say that it is clear he’s both an expert and a good and reliable businessperson. If and when we have any other issues with stone or tile, I know who we will be calling!Posted on Marianne DeanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kristen and Bob were very responsive, timely and professional. They repaired a large scratch in my corian countertop, replaced the caulking and repaired a chip in my ceramic tile floor. Their work was incredible. The Corian and the ceramic tile look like the day I bought them. I highly recommend Marblelife!Posted on Rocky MedureTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Bob and his team restored our slate floor and did an absolutely amazing job. Their care and effort shine through. Huge thanks to them for excellent customer service and thoughtfulness.Posted on Jane PTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Superb workmanship and excellent service! We have a 20-yr old travertine bathroom and shower that had never been professionally cleaned before. Bob and his team were able to clean/sand away etching and stains from the counter and shower entry and deep clean the shower, removing soap scum and mildew. It looks as good as it did 20 years ago! Bob also cleaned and sealed our granite kitchen counter. We had a sink that was installed without proper supports and we have dealt with leaks along the rim for years. Because Bob has experience with stone installation, he was able to reinstall the sink with proper supports - it has never been more secure. Throughout the process, Bob consults you to make sure you are happy with what they are doing and will adjust as needed. We couldn't be happier with the service and will use Bob on a regular basis for deep cleaning and resealing.Posted on Jim HarpsterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our countertop was damaged by the stove installers. Bob and his wife came to the rescue and made our countertop look like it as brand new! He was fast, clean and efficient!Posted on innocentrage1Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a stress fracture crack in my quartz countertop and Bob came out and looked at it and told me because it was quartz, a man made stone, he could glue it back together but it was highly possible that in a year or two it may crack again and suggested a new countertop may be the better option. Bob has many years experience in this business and had a list of contacts he provided me. I contacted one of those contacts and got a beautiful new countertop that was way better than the crafmanship of my old countertops done by a chain retail store. Even though Bob did not get my business this time I will be using him in the future for any services with my new countertops. I admire him for helping me and making suggestions even though it didn't make him a profit. A lot of companies would of just taken my money with a quick glue fix and I would have run into the same problem later down the road.Posted on John BaronTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Bob and his team were fantastic. They went out of their way to get me out of a situation concerning a marble mosaic floor and exceeded all my expectations. Can’t thank them enough.Posted on Rob RikerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. These guys really over-delivered! We understood that the 136 yrs of baked-on soot were likely to be impossible to clean completely, and confirmed with several quotes. But they gave it a ton of time and attention and got it much further than we dared hope. A good bit of structural repair and an exceptional attention to detail rounded out a great project. They were reliable schedulers and good communicators, both rare to find in in-home contractors. Looking forward to having them back to help with more fireplaces. One warning: for work like this with structural repair it would be good to schedule when windows can be open, as their epoxy has a powerful odor! Was eager to leave this review & share our enthusiasm.Load more
